Welcome To Corbett Reporting
Corbett Reporting is proud to announce that it is a Veritext Company.
Corbett Reporting is not just a court reporting agency. We are much more. We have dedicated ourselves to the preservation of the spoken word, but we didn't stop there. We were one of the first users in the country of computer-aided transcription. We were involved with the developers of the first condensed transcript. We wholeheartedly embrace all technology that can enhance our service to the legal profession. Reporting expertise, technology and service — that's what we offer, 24/7. That's our promise and our commitment.
Corbett Reporting has had an illustrious history. It started out as Varallo, White & Corbett. The three partners were: J. Edward Varallo," Fast Eddie," who now works for Farmer Arsenault & Brock, LLC, in Boston; Jack P. White, who is now retired after an impressive career, and Ellie Corbett Hannum. Over the years, the partners changed, but the commitment to high-quality work and dedication to the legal community has stayed the same.
Veritext is one of the largest national providers of court-reporting services. Headquartered in New Jersey, Veritext is supported nationally by over 500 independent contractors and more than 600 additional affiliate agencies. This enables Veritext to provide deposition and litigation services anywhere in the United States, as well as internationally. In addition to traditional deposition services such as daily-copy delivery, delivery through e-mail, condensed transcripts, conference rooms, interpreting of languages and video services, Veritext provides advanced services such as Internet document repository, Internet scheduling, real-time transcription, and remote video transcription.
About Our Reporting Experts
Corbett Reporting does reporting of all kinds, from depositions to hearings. Prior to our merger with Veritext, we used to advertise that we had over 250 years of professional experience among our reporters. However, with the number of additional reporters we have added to our ranks, we are reluctant to place a number of years of experience. Suffice it to say that it’s certainly in excess of 500 years! All of our reporters are Delaware Certified Reporters. In order to become a Delaware Certified Reporter, one must possess a Registered Professional Reporter certificate from the National Court Reporters Association or an equivalent certificate from another testing organization. In addition, a number of our reporters are Certified LiveNote Reporters. Many of our reporters have been awarded the coveted Registered Merit Reporter, Certified Manager of Reporting Services, Registered Diplomate Reporter and Certified Realtime Reporter certifications. Our highly skilled staff is committed to quality on a timely basis, utilizing the finest in cutting-edge technology. We never rest on our laurels.
